Jungle Jezebel

Unfortunately, not my scent at all, even though I really like unusual fragrances and already own several bottles by Miguel Matos. I had hoped for more tuberose, bubblegum, and fruit, but on my skin it is unfortunately just pure cow barn. Sorry, but it's a total no-go for me. No tuberose, no peach 🍑, and no bubblegum, maybe a little ylang-ylang on my skin. No change in the drydown either. For those who are into truly animalic scents, this is 1,000% it.

Not for the masses, doesn't change even after some time. Penetrating.

Chaotic and contradictory, but somehow incredibly attractive. A crazy mixture of juicy peach, mint-banana bubble gum and a tyre shop - actual hot rubber. The peach keeps changing: first bitter, then sweet, then almost shampoo-like. Peaches and a tyre shop. Somehow it’s fascinating to smell. I agree that it’s probably quite difficult to wear, although it opens beautifully in warm weather. For me, it’s more of an evening fragrance, something for a party. There aren’t really any alcoholic notes, but somehow it still feels boozy. The tonka is especially interesting here. At first it smells like sweet-and-sour barberry hard candies, then turns into sweet cherry close to the stone, almost like cherry jam at the very beginning of cooking. There is also a slightly animalic note, but to me it smells more like an incredibly clean horse stable - saddles, bridles, leather and dry hay. As if you’re standing inside a stable eating an incredibly juicy, fleshy peach, the juice running down your hands and mixing with the smell of leather, horses and hay. Then there is the completely synthetic side - a tyre shop, cars being repaired, tyres changed, oil and hot rubber. Such an unusual fragrance. I genuinely don’t know what to do with it. I like it, but I know I would wear it very rarely. Definitely sample it. A full bottle - decide for yourself.
