Login... this extremely classic, fruity-floral fragrance exudes an intrusive, almost old-fashioned aura... the lush fragrance pyramid of heliotrope, magnolia, ylang-ylang, and tuberose creates a dense, sticky texture with heavy notes of powder and lipstick... due to the lack of sophistication and this all-encompassing heaviness, the perfume unfortunately does not suit my personal taste...
Vêpres Siciliennes requires a bit of patience on my skin. The first 30–60 minutes seem quite floral-soapy to me and don't quite win me over yet. After that, however, the fragrance reveals its true beauty: soft, well-groomed, elegant, and wonderfully harmonious. A very beautiful scent, where I like the drydown much better than the opening.
Soapy and old-fashioned for my taste. It has little to do with the scent description.
