The story
Sarah Baker is a London fragrance house growing out of the practice of multidisciplinary artist Sarah Baker. In the East London studio, film, photography, installation and perfumery meet. The brand presents its fragrances as characters in a larger fantasy world rather than interchangeable perfume products.
The work is collaborative. Sarah Baker develops briefs and narrative worlds with independent perfumers and names them openly. Partners represented in Parfinity’s catalog include Chris Maurice, Miguel Matos, Sarah McCartney, Ashley Eden Kessler and Margaux Le Paih Guérin.
01 · Founder

An artistic practice becomes a fragrance house

Sarah Baker works as a multidisciplinary artist across film, photography and installation. That perspective shapes the house: fragrances are made as part of a staged world where identity, desire and luxury become artistic subjects. In the East London studio, she brings that practice into perfumery and runs the family business with Andy Hsu.
The brand’s official story describes each creation as an experience with its own mini screenplay. Packaging therefore becomes more than a container. It is an entry point into a narrative scene.

02 · Concept

Fragrances as characters with their own scene

Sarah Baker describes the work as mutual inspiration with some of the industry’s most talented perfumers. The house does not simply hand over a brief. It develops images, stories and an olfactory idea together. Jungle Jezebel and Prism Head show how that process connects provocative character, atmosphere and wearable fragrance.

Small batches, considered down to the box

The house works in relatively small batches and handles dilution, filling, boxing and bottling in-house. That scale is intended to reduce overproduction while keeping close control of the finished object. The official ingredient information describes organic grain alcohol and IFRA-compliant formulas. It also states that the brand does not use nitromusks, colourants, phthalates or halogenorganics.

10/10
This fragrance is sweet, no doubt, but it also literally makes your mouth water. You smell a wonderful vanilla flan, very typically Spanish, topped with caramel sauce, a little bit of crumble as a topping, and peaches that smell so juicy and authentic that you can literally see their juice running down the flan. This scent is creamy, warm, with just the right amount of fruit. It is a youthful fragrance, but not too childish, and for people who really want to smell like a dessert. Probably the most balanced of the peach fragrances from this brand.

Chocolate-caramel gourmand. A beautiful, vanillic, chocolate scent. The oud joins in inconspicuously and is not animalic and very wearable.

It was a secret scent from Parfinity and I feel like they never miss. I am not a big fan of peach, however this smells like a boozy peach pie with vanilla. Really enjoyable to me!
