Tartan Cask

This fragrance smells like herbaceous-resinous smoke in a room full of fragrant wooden furniture. It works for virtually any time and any occasion.

I can confirm the whisky. Then a fire is started and green and woody materials are made to smolder. That's how it smelled when we smoked lianas (for lack of anything else) in the forest as children (8-11). It feels like it stays at that level, so I'm missing a bit of the warmth. Still really cool.

I like the top and middle notes, starting with a strange whiskey and hops scent while heather adds a subtle sweetness, then it becomes more smoky and leathery as it dries down while still keeping most of the notes. However, this perfume could also be perceived as slightly dirty by some; the sillage and longevity are nice enough. Gets much more soft later. I actually think about getting it at some other day.
