Vi et Armis

This is one of the strongest and most challenging fragrances I have tried. On my skin, I mainly get smoke, charcoal and leather, with something that reminds me of old gasoline or burnt fuel. There is also a dark spicy facet that almost gives me a gunpowder-like impression. I can appreciate the concept and it definitely has a strong personality, but for me it is simply too aggressive and overwhelming. The smoky and leathery facets dominate so much that I find it difficult to enjoy, and at times it was almost nauseating. Very distinctive and very niche, but definitely not something I would want to wear.

I can appreciate this fragrance for what it is but this is certainly one i will never wear again. I get a very strong note of rotting fish ans licorice. Wear this is you dont want anyone sitting next to you!

It's strong. The opening is quite rich and extreme. Then it moves to the realistic opium scent, which seems to be eternal. A good choice for those, who are interested how the 19th century Paris salon smelled
