The Grudge

While I'm intrigued by the overall vibe of this one, I just can't seem to quite befriend it due to something about it smelling strongly of "old man" to me that I can't seem to look past. Other than that... it smells ancient and cold. But I have to admit I liked other Beaufort London ones better.

The Grudge is one of my favourite fragrances from BeauFort London so far. It has a dark and distinctive character, but compared with some of the more aggressive fragrances from the house, I find it much easier and more enjoyable to wear. To me, it feels fresh, earthy and woody, with a slightly mysterious atmosphere that develops beautifully on skin and clothes. It has plenty of personality without becoming overwhelming. I liked it quite quickly, and after wearing it again several times, I appreciate it even more. It is one of those fragrances I genuinely enjoy coming back to.

This perfume smells like the concept of Cthulhu: deep sea, gigantic, monstrous, mysterious, calm. This is one of the most creative male-leaning perfumes I've ever smelled and I would drink it, if I could.
