Details on Zoologist Hyrax
The African sun beats down on hot mountain rocks. A family of hyrax comes out to sunbathe. This animalic scent captures that wild moment. It is daring and primitive. You get the smell of hot dust and petrified stones. It is tamed just a bit by sweet florals. Hyrax uses real African stone for a truly unique and bold feel. It is a woody and musk perfume that is not for everyone. If you love a wild scent, this is for you.
How does Zoologist Hyrax smell?
The scent opens sharp and spicy with pink pepper, elemi, and saffron. A touch of Turkish rose adds a soft floral hint. The heart brings out the wild side. You smell dirty, dusty rocks mixed with whiskey and hyacinth. The star is the real African stone. The base dries down into a deep animalic blend. Strong notes of civet and castoreum mix with warm amber, sandalwood, and tonka bean.

Not my type but it’s a good scent
It’s a very smoky, warm and resinous wood scent with deep rich animalistic notes to me. It doesn’t suit me but definitely a good scent

I've heard many opinions that Zoologist is very stinky and has a huge amount of animalic notes – but personally, I love that! It's a niche fragrance that offers a great experience. I smell sweet, floral, rum, and animalic notes; everything works together perfectly and shows what that animal might smell like :) It's definitely a fragrance for alpha males.
