Camel

Camel. Zoologist. It’s impossible not to love Zoologist. Every fragrance is a wow-journey. Camel is a luxurious, spicy oriental fragrance filled with rose oil and dried fruits. Dates, slightly smoked cherries, rich, oily, fleshy prunes. Oud together with tonka creates this sweet-sour animalic note - incredibly seductive - while myrrh brings something peaceful and cozy at the same time. A barely noticeable touch of fresh jasmine - not creamy at all, but very green - softens and gives air to the the intensity of the honeyed rose. In the base, everything melts into one song: gourmand, slightly intoxicating, almost meditative. Incense and warm amber, dry woods and herbs, smoky not overwhelming vanilla. This fragrance feels perfect for a warm, golden, sunny autumn. It makes me want to wrap myself in a scarf, sit outside with spiced coffee and honey cake, and stare at an intensely blue sky through the crowns of yellow and red maple trees. Or just forget everything and go to Morocco, wander through the medina and buy every fragrant oil, spice and incense I can find.
