A great spring fragrance
Starts tart, spicy, and green. As it develops, hay and incense dominate. Interesting scent with a unique drydown.

My favourite smoky perfume I've ever tested. No birch tar, no barbeque notes, just clean hay and smoky mate. Somewhere in the background a little dry incense without becoming sharp. Fairly expensive, but haven't found anything similar since.
The opening, with its sharp Timut pepper, bitter-tart mate, and resinous elemi, is quite an olfactory screeching halt – it almost burns the nose a bit. As it settles, the fragrance drifts in an extremely smoky, almost archaic direction: smoked sage, dry hay, and mystical incense mingle with an almost ashy-woody depth reminiscent of an extinguished ritual fire.
