This fragrance is beautifully creamy and woody. It is great to wear from spring to autumn, lasts well on the skin, and projects nicely. A your-skin-but-better fragrance. Universally wearable.

Very smoky vanilla - base note a bit too heavy and sweet
At first, strong incense, then it remains smoky, a little resinous and vanilla-like, a bit one-dimensional, but that doesn't have to be a bad thing. On the test strip, I smelled more of a bright sacred building, but on my skin, it became more like a damp chapel. It quickly becomes a skin scent. Whoever finds Diptyque's Eau Duelle too vanilla-heavy and not smoky enough can give this a try, and vice versa. Edit: unfortunately, after some time I now have to downgrade its rating a bit (from 8 to 6), as I find the base notes too sweet and heavy, which lingers extremely long, but no longer smells as pleasant to me.
