Reliqvia

Reliqvia smells like an orange tree inside a cathedral to me. Dry, warm orange over incense, smoked woods, pine and a cool stone-like feel. The incense never gets heavy, and on skin it becomes softer and slightly soapy in the drydown. Moderate projection, around 6.5–7 hours on me. Much warmer and more luminous than the intimidating bottle suggests.

I have to admit... at first, I didn't like this one much. But I'm glad I gave it another chance and tried it when I was having a better day. The frankincense dominates, positively so (I like incense fragrances), but is accompanied beautifully by its other, fresher notes, which also make it more "wearable". Longevity and sillage however could be better. If I spray it in the morning, it is nearly gone by afternoon.

A woody, resinous, incense-like scent. I wouldn't wear it on an everyday basis. I find it pleasant and somehow meditative and sacred. A fragrance with many facets that always feel new.
