Noir by Night

Noir by Night by Atelier des Ors is a fragrance that is difficult to assess. Not because it is particularly complicated or profound, but because of the exact opposite. The fragrance opens with a woody note perceived as synthetic, which comes across as particularly soft and creamy. This is joined by a subtle herbal freshness from coriander. Later, the coriander fades and a subtle saltiness from caviar can be identified, but it does little to change the structure of the fragrance. It remains a synthetic sandalwood-like something throughout. The vision of an elegant evening and the French way of life simply does not arise here. An easy-to-wear fragrance that undergoes no special development and cannot boast great depth. A great pity.

Not my scent, too boring and nothing special

This fragrance walks a fine line between a luxurious men's shower gel and a coriander-laurel elixir at night by the seashore. Definitely niche. Rather masculine.
