Unfortunately only good at the end
At the beginning citrusy, slightly bitter, but also sweet, a bit too feminine. It then quickly becomes warmer, woodier, spicier, smokier, and more masculine. You can smell myrrh, some frankincense, and peppery notes. Over time, the fragrance becomes more sour, more herbal, somewhat musty, and more frankincense is detectable. A woody note is then added, but it moves into a cool herbal quality, towards camphor. Despite the woodiness, it somehow reminds me of a cold ointment or a medicated bath. Towards the end, it becomes more conciliatory again, the herbs move into the background, leaving a sweet and dry woody note, as well as some vanilla and musk. The sillage was above average, but the longevity for an elixir was not that good on me (from morning to evening). And the price of €200 for 50ml seems very high for what is being offered. Since I am only at the beginning of my journey into the world of fragrances, I cannot judge whether the scent is well-crafted or poorly made – I can only say that I simply did not like it.
