Sogni

Sogni immediately gives me a very specific image of tatami, rice and a quiet Japanese interior. It has a soft cereal quality that feels dry, calm and slightly textured rather than sweet. As it settles, the fragrance becomes flatter and quieter, but it remains pleasant and keeps a faint grain-like trace for a very long time. What I enjoy most is how clearly it creates an atmosphere without becoming theatrical or overwhelming.

With Sogni, Meo Fusciuni proves how precise olfactory contrasts can create a dense, almost physically tangible atmosphere. The fragrance opens with an unconventional, realistic accord of steaming white rice, whose moist warmth directly encounters the cool, clear austerity of pine needles. The contemplative density of a traditional Japanese room in muted light emerges immediately. As it develops, the rice evaporates, making way for a gentle, drier florality. Later, the scent retreats close to the skin and transforms into a warm, ambery woodiness. The cool needles fade away, while darker woods and earthy elements take over the base. Unfortunately, the roasted green tea note was completely swallowed on my skin, unlike when applied to the paper strip. Nevertheless, Sogni remains a highly natural-feeling fragrance. Very unisex and especially suitable for quieter hours.

Well... if you want to smell like cereals and amber, this is the perfume for you. I personally don't like it, the first line reflects that, the rating not so much I guess. This is just not for me, it's not disgusting or foul, it's simply not my style of fragrance but I see the artistry. My least favourite from the line though
