The story
Thomas De Monaco grew from the work of Zurich photographer and creative director Thomas De Monaco. His first fragrance idea began as a personal gift and became public with Raw Gold in December 2020.
Since the house officially launched in 2022, it has treated perfume as an intimate art form. The collections connect the Gold Collection with the Artist Collection Flowers for Future. The founder’s visual language remains central: fragrances are meant to open a scene, material or memory rather than merely name one.
01 · From image to scent

A photographic way of thinking about perfume

Thomas De Monaco spent years creating visual campaigns for international luxury brands as a photographer. Around 2019 he made a personal fragrance as a gift for creative collaborators. Their response led to Raw Gold, first presented publicly in December 2020. In an interview, the founder describes photography and perfume as related ways of holding moments, atmospheres and inner images.
02 · Zurich and the Gold Collection

Material, time and control

After developing Raw Gold, Thomas De Monaco established its production in Zurich. Retail and official presentations describe a place where creation, maceration, cooling, filtration, filling and packaging are kept closely connected. The Gold Collection expresses that approach through six Extraits Uniques, including Grand Beau, Fuego Futuro and Ultima Storia.

03 · Flowers for Future

A future for floral imagination

The Artist Collection Flowers for Future opens the house to three distinct voices. Fleur Danger by Ugo Charron, Jade Amour by David Chieze and Neo Eden by Augustin Lemiere imagine a nature that keeps evolving. The official presentation frames the collection through new molecules, tension and a contemporary niche language without nostalgia.

Anyone who likes honey and leather is in exactly the right place. Honey perfectly showcased on a leather/iris bed. Simply wow. The fragrance lasts all day.

It comes out not too strong, with a leathery lipstick smell, and reveals some honey notes along with a noticeably bitter suede leather scent. Anyway, I'm satisfied enough; I'll probably, or rather certainly, get a full bottle one day. As for an update – I don't really like patchouli in fragrances anymore. But I still would consider it for October -December

Very green, salty and earthy. The performance is actually good (lasts long and projects well), but the scent itself is just not for me. Somewhat unpleasant at times.
