Montabaco Intensivo captures the essence of Latin America: leather, suede, wood, and tobacco leaves create a suggestive sensuality and Latino temperament. It floats above the rich floral presence of magnolia, jasmine, and rose. Everything is shamelessly seductive yet deeply likable.
A sophisticated blend opening with fresh cardamom, juniper, and citrus notes, followed by an airy heart of hedione, magnolia, and delicate tea. The base reveals a masterful combination of suede, moss, tobacco, and ISO E Super, creating a modern yet timeless woody-spicy signature.
For me, Montabaco Intensivo is a niche fragrance full of character that combines clear freshness reminiscent of mountain air with a soft tobacco base. This combination feels light, special, and harmonious on my skin at the same time, so it brings me joy time and again in everyday life.
For me, the perfect fragrance for going out in the evening. It smells incredibly good, has something noble and expensive about it. However, I like the Verano a bit better.
The fragrance Montabaco Intensivo by Ormonde Jayne opens with a citric lightness that feels very mature and is reminiscent of opening fresh, green citrus fruits. Once the fragrance has settled slightly on the skin, increasingly floral and slightly tea-like nuances emerge. The top and heart notes are consistently accompanied by an elegantly integrated, subtly tart freshness. Dry tobacco and woody accords blend harmoniously into the fragrance profile and form an exceptionally pleasant, balanced base. After about two hours, the base moves more into the foreground, making the fragrance overall tarter without losing its characteristic freshness. As the wearing time progresses, the fragrance becomes increasingly close to the skin. On the one hand, this makes it an ideal everyday scent, but on the other hand, one occasionally wishes for a stronger projection that fills the room more. The longevity is overall to be rated as good to very good: even if the fragrance is perceptible closer to the body after several hours, it remains present there for a long period.
