Sancti by Liquides Imaginaires is a sacred and mystical fragrance created in 2011 by perfumer Sonia Constant. It represents holy water and serves as a symbol of purification of body and soul. This treasure, traditionally gifted to kings and gods, combines aromatic vapors with cypress and rosemary to energize and illuminate the spirit.
A bright and fresh interpretation of sacred incense, opening with fizzy aldehydes and crisp citrus notes of grapefruit, bergamot, and mandarin. The heart reveals an aromatic blend of cypress, fir balsam, and herbs, while the base features a transparent frankincense accord complemented by cedar, myrrh, and clean woody notes.
Opens with citrus, incense, and a hint of coniferous forest. The citrus note fades quite quickly, and the incense slowly follows, leaving behind an authentic scent of a bright, sunny coniferous forest. Not quite what I expected, but pleasant and interesting nonetheless.
This fragrance opens with a radiant, citrusy freshness that gives it a special liveliness from the start. After just a short time, however, the incense comes to the fore and unfolds its full beauty. The composition feels extraordinary, full of character, and at the same time surprisingly harmonious. The incense is present without feeling heavy, giving the fragrance a calm, almost meditative atmosphere. For me, it is reminiscent of a small, old church where light refracts through stained-glass windows and the scent of incense still lingers in the air. An atmospheric and fascinating creation that has left a lasting impression on me.
