How does Zoologist Snowy Owl smell?
Snowy Owl opens with an icy blast of mint and a unique snow accord, subtly smoothed by a hint of sweet coconut. The heart blooms with chilly lily of the valley, iris, and delicate snowdrops, grounded by green galbanum. As it dries down, a comforting yet earthy base emerges. You will notice warm musk, ambrette seed, and a touch of civet mixed with damp oakmoss and cedarwood.

Silent Snow, Warm Skin
Frozen milk with sugar crystals and a touch of vanilla but not ice cream, it’s literally frozen milk. Fresh and icy, yet strangely warm: fluffy rather than sweet. A quiet winter morning at the edge of a forest. Soft snow falling without a sound, crunching under your boots. Frost-bitten berries still clinging to their stems under the snow. A fur coat, warm pastry and the comforting smell of warm skin after a long walk in the cold. The aldehydes soften towards the base, returning to that snowy milky ice: vegetal, peaceful, soft and fluffy as an owl’s wings.

A beautiful wet forest after the rain
Snowy Owl is one of the most beautiful and immersive fragrances I have tried from Zoologist so far. To me, it evokes wet earth, moss, damp wood and a forest just after the rain. What I really enjoy is that it never feels heavy despite this earthy atmosphere. There is also a softer, fresher side that becomes almost fruity and floral as it develops, with a slightly powdery texture in the background. It is unusual, atmospheric and surprisingly easy to wear. I wore it for a full day and found myself enjoying it more and more as it evolved. Definitely one of my favourites from the house.
