Orchid Mantis

Orchid Mantis. At first, I thought of the hot, humid air of a tropical forest. But no. This is actually the shower area of a swimming pool - a good, clean, modern sports club. It’s always humid there, and all these smells mix together: moisture, cleaning products, chlorinated pool water, soap and shower gel. After about fifteen minutes, it becomes much soapier, with a lot of musk moving to the foreground. Despite all the floral soapiness and the milky sandalwood, the fragrance never feels completely smooth to me. There’s something slightly irritating about it - that frustrating situation when you basically like something, but one small detail keeps pulling your attention towards itself and prevents you from really falling in love. Not my cup of tea.

I don't like the scent. Pleasant, long-lasting, well made, but it doesn't suit me. In addition, I find the perfume relatively masculine. I'm also not sure if it would attract me on a man.

You're instantly transported to a flower greenhouse. You smell all the florals, all the greens, some of the soil. The smell just overpowers you with no mercy in the opening. It does eventually calm down (maybe a bit too much for my taste) and become more wearable. I can see this scent growing on me in the next few weeks.
