Overripe papaya, passion fruit, bananas and melon fallen onto wet earth. Not rotten yet — just on the edge. Huge magnolia flowers, thick oily leaves, humid soil and that heavy, steamy air of the subtropics after rain. Sweet, sour, lush and slightly suffocating. Then it starts to shift. The sticky fruitiness gives way to wet greenery, flowers and fresh ozonic air. Later, something almost bergamot-like appears: lemony grass, acidity, freshness. Strangely, it becomes fresher towards the base than it was at the beginning. Beautiful and layered, but there is something that keeps pushing me away: that overripe melon note. Slightly nauseating to me. I love the magnolia, wet greenery and sour passion fruit around it but the melon stops me from falling in love.

First damp and mossy, then sour, towards the end sweetish, but always fruity. For myself always wearable and a mental journey. But in company? Rather not.

Unfortunately, the fruits disappear quite quickly; earth dominates. The stuff lasts quite a long time on the skin. I find it special without being intrusive. I'd just love a bit more fruit, but that can certainly be achieved through layering. For me, this isn't Dracula, but rather a natural and realistic approach to the habitat of a misunderstood animal.
