A day at the North Sea
Aside from the scent, I would like to note that the light blue color of the perfume is very appealing and immediately invites the interpretation of an oceanic fragrance (you smell with your eyes first... in this case). On the test strip, the perfume's scent initially reminds me of salty sunscreen with something algae-like and maritime in the background. Occasionally, a hint of spice also comes through. On the skin, the fragrance also starts out salty, but in a way that almost resembles dried sweat, as if you went straight home from working out instead of showering. Later on, smoky-resinous notes and almost sporadic floral elements emerge, which actually surprised me a lot. After the perfume has sat on the skin for a few hours, however, it takes on that sunscreen-like scent again, reminiscent of other perfumes with similar notes (Nivea Sun or Jil Sander Sun). Overall, a very vanillic scent ultimately remains on my skin, which also lasts for many hours. On my dry skin, the perfume lasted a full 10 hours.
