Olm

Olm smells cool, aquatic, and mineral, with a damp, stony impression. Over time, an herbal, algae-like facet emerges that fits well into the composition and is not intrusive. Overall, the fragrance feels calm and rather introverted. It does not impose itself and remains pleasantly understated.

The olm is my favorite animal, so I certainly look through rose-tinted glasses, but the fragrance was the biggest positive surprise. I have no idea how one manages to capture a gigantic cave system in a bottle, but Zoologist managed it here. The scent is cold, atmospheric, wet, and very mineral. Is it a bit synthetic? Sure, but only if you really look for it, and the synthetics are by no means bad. I don't perceive any Ambrocenide-like, pungent notes, even though I am very sensitive.

Smells like wet earth and fresh grass. Very cool pleasant scent with an incredibly strong natural aroma.
