The fragrance starts wonderfully spicy. It is pleasantly sweet, yet not overloaded, but rather very round and harmonious, a wonderful companion for the winter. Unfortunately, the top and heart notes do not linger long; very quickly, one reaches the base of musk, amber, and vanilla. I find this base to be very familiar. Perhaps the winter season is simply drawing to a close, so I do not appreciate this classic finish quite as much at the moment.
