Dates Delight by The House of Oud is a luxurious oriental-gourmand fragrance that whispers to the heart of those capable of hearing the voice of love. Created by perfumers Andrea Casotti and Cristian Calabrò, this 2016 release combines Middle Eastern opulence with gourmand sweetness.
How does THoO Dates Delight smell?
Opening with a rich infusion of Riyadh dates and delicate peony, the fragrance evolves into a warm heart of tonka bean, caramel, and cinnamon. The base reveals a harmonious blend of honey, labdanum, benzoin, and a subtle touch of Kalimantan oud, all wrapped in a powdery sugar accord.

A very, very sweet fragrance that fits perfectly into winter days for me – an absolute scent bomb! Personally, I really like it, although it might probably be a bit too sweet for many. I find the development of the fragrance particularly beautiful. To my nose, the date comes through very clearly and intensely, which I personally like very much. The bottle also looks excellent in the collection. It is definitely something special and a real eye-catcher.
