The story
THoO, also known as The House of Oud, grew from the meeting of Andrea Casotti's Italian fragrance perspective and Mohammed Abu Nashi's oud expertise from Jakarta. The house treats perfumery as an open intersection of art, music, colour, raw materials, and memory.
01 · Origin

An engineer with an artist's eye

Andrea Casotti describes his work as a meeting of verve and method, art and study. His path from nuclear engineer to CEO of an Italian fragrance house still shapes THoO: intuitions are gathered, tested, and translated into olfactory stories. The official THoO story presents not a closed style but a field of creative freedom.

02 · Encounter

Italian formulation meets Jakarta oud

THoO grew from Casotti's friendship with Mohammed Abu Nashi, an oud producer from Jakarta. Here oud is not treated as a loud soloist but as a material that connects other facets. A fragrance such as Golden Powder can join spicy warmth with Burma oud, while Keep Glazed follows the idea of olfactory patisserie.
03 · Craft

Bottles as small works of art

THoO's characteristic bottles make material and colour visible. Official product stories describe hand-painted, numbered glass bottles for limited editions. The same attitude continues across the collections: the Royal Stones Collection translates jewels into scent, while the Crazy Collection stages playful gourmand ideas such as L'Explicite.
