Lü Bu

Kind of a gasoline explosion, with a delicious sweetness that made me think of the things you want to eat, knowing you must not (like shampoo or candles). The gunpowder is very strong, almost like gas station atmosphere. On my skin, the gunpowder and metallic notes stayed until the end. But the evolution was very interesting through the day, the other notes came and go randomly. I find the sillage not very large, but actually it’s a good point for me because if i want to be intoxicated by Lü Bu, i don’t want to be hated by my co workers ! I think this kind of fragrance is not for everyone, blind buy would be kind of crazy !

I'm in love with this. But it's the perfect case of why you have to sample, especially niche perfumes. To me it smells like luxurious velvet, vampire that's smoking a cigarette and eating macaroons while applying makeup Infront of their vanity. Decadent but dangerous, this isn't as unwearable as people might make you think.

So. So, so, so. First of all, it's absolutely wonderful, it's super original. I really recommend testing it on skin because it was very different from the tester strip, with additional notes of almond and hazelnut right from the opening. Already on the strip, one could feel this slight balsamic and sweet side, which is quite pleasant, especially in rainy weather. It's a perfume that I like very much, an in-between perfume, like a bridge between two worlds or two dimensions.
