Tonka Kumaru

Be sure to test it extensively on the skin! On paper, the scent seems very dry and dusty and the vanilla does not really come through, but on the skin it becomes an incredibly creamy tonka-vanilla scent without becoming sweet, with extreme longevity.

The fragrance starts off sweet and creamy. The bitter almond comes through strongly, while a slight spiciness resonates. In the drydown, unfortunately, there is a bit too much barley, which means the tonka bean somehow cannot maintain the sweetness of the fragrance, and there is a synthetic undertone.

Definitely worth a try. Rather a heavy (non-intrusive) winter fragrance.
