A dry green forest in a bottle
Santal Super immediately feels very natural and woody to me, but after about thirty minutes it really comes alive. It evokes a dry northern forest: moss, slightly damp wood, green vegetation and something resinous and almost pine-like. There is also a fresh, slightly mentholated aromatic quality that gives the woods a lot of air and prevents the fragrance from becoming heavy. It is very close to the kind of forest atmosphere I naturally enjoy in perfume. Beautifully balanced, green, woody and extremely pleasant to wear.
