La Belle Hélène

La Belle Hélène is a well-made, fruity fragrance with a very natural pear note. Over time, it becomes more complex and develops a character of its own. For my taste, there was a note that I didn't quite warm up to, but the composition is successful and definitely worth a test. For me, however, it is not a candidate for purchase.

This is a very temperature-dependent fragrance. Beautiful like pear wine under blooming linden trees — especially in cool or mildly warm weather. However, in the heat it feels stifling, and in the cold it becomes very sharp and stinging.

The pear and ylang-ylang in the fragrance pyramid gave me the idea that this could be a gentle scent... The fragrance is complex, but for me too masculine and tart...
