Ormonde Man

Ormonde Man feels fresh, aromatic, woody and spicy, but everything is very rounded and controlled. Nothing really sticks out too aggressively, which gives it a soft, almost intimate elegance. It makes me think of something green and mossy, but polished rather than wild. It is not the most dramatic fragrance I have tried, but it is one of those compositions where everything simply feels in the right place. Very easy to enjoy and one of my favourites from the house.

... but some note bothers me. I suspect it is the fir. It comes across as fresh, well-balanced, and high-quality. But for me, it is a bit too old-fashioned or rather not modern enough.

Shimmering heat on this spring day. Walking with my loved one past slopes filled with flowers and wild herbs into the vineyards, letting the warm wind blow through our clothes. No rush, everything is peaceful and quiet, only the chirping of birds and the occasional hum of busy insects. This fragrance fits perfectly into this mood.
