Puritas

The opening is resinous, with incense and absinthe (as known from l'Erbolario, without any herbaceous sharpness). The heart warms with saffron, more resin, and a sweet floral scent. The top and heart notes cancel each other out. Tonka and labdanum were meant to be the finale, but what remains is sweet-talking at the incense burner. There are better scents for me.

Smoky fragrance with gentle pink pepper. Powerful and expressive, yet pleasantly soft and creamy on the finish. A dark, slightly gothic composition with a lot of character.

Very incensy from the start. Behind the smoke, it is basically aquatic/creamy. But the smoke dominates the overall impression quite strongly.
