Dragonfly

Smells very niche and slightly masculine to me. Earthy and dry are the words that come to mind here, but somehow the name totally fits the scent.

When describing Dragonfly, I immediately had something delicate, natural, almost fairy-like in mind. Rainwater, rice fields, aquatic blossoms, and green nature. Unfortunately, what I got was more of a sporty-fresh aquatic. It is floral, citrusy, fresh, and absolutely unisex, but to my nose also quite synthetic and a little too close to classic aftershave. Especially the rice and rainwater, which I was particularly looking forward to, I hardly get at all. After the wonderfully mineral Olm, I simply miss the naturalness here. Surely an uncomplicated spring and summer scent that hardly anyone would object to. But personally, I miss the promised dragonfly magic.

Test on a scent stick: 1st impression: What was that?! After 3 h: Wait, still? After 8 h: I don't get it... After 24 h: What are you trying to achieve? Testing on clothing was much more pleasant. The poetic, idyllic descriptions for the scent might also apply, but it's not for me. There's a bitter note, or the combination of ginger and basil, that remains present and dominant for a long time... You have to like that.
