Delma

Delma starts off for me with a very prominent, fruity sweetness that immediately reminded me of ripe apricots. After about five minutes, the profile shifts: the fragrance develops a wonderful powdery texture that, to me, smells like a blend of vanilla and almond. During this phase, a lovely combination of peach and soft leather also reveals itself. I found the addition of fine spices and saffron particularly intriguing. Unfortunately, these spicy accents fade on my skin after about an hour. Instead of the leather presence I had hoped for, jasmine moves strongly into the foreground and dominates the dry down. It is a beautiful, powdery scent, though I wish the spices had been more persistent.

Unfortunately, it really smells like laundry detergent. Not even like fresh laundry, but simply straight from the bottle. I didn't like it.

A typical Widian bouquet. Slightly powdery, velvety. A good fragrance for women that leans in an oriental direction. Too much jasmine for my taste.
