Prolégomènes

A lovely scent, though not the best among fig fragrances for me. Personally, it is a bit too sour for my taste.

An unusual, poetic, and very intimate fragrance. Dry, powdery, woody, and slightly smoky, with an almost melancholic, literary atmosphere. Nothing loud or crowd-pleasing – rather a scent that unfolds slowly on the skin, leaving behind a mysterious, warm aura.

I organized a 'battle of the figs' and tested my way through 15 well-known fig fragrances, and this one? It's my winner. The fig here is ripe, juicy, creamy-sweet, and the absolute main character in the fragrance. Its creaminess lasts incredibly long without ever becoming too green, and the woody notes only emerge late without the creaminess getting lost. This makes this fragrance a cozy feel-good scent that isn't too much in the summer but also provides enough coziness on cold days.
