A powerful, spicy opening in which ginger, cardamom, and saffron build a dry, aromatically warm sharpness. The composition immediately feels structured and dense without becoming diffuse. In the heart, a noble combination of Taif rose and Laotian oud unfolds, accompanied by resinous myrrh, which lends the fragrance a deep, oriental tension. As it progresses, a smoky-resinous base of frankincense and sandalwood prevails, while the civet note contributes an animalic, slightly dark warmth. The drydown is intense, resinous, and complex, with a clearly oriental signature between spice, smoke, and subtle animalic notes.

It's similar to Ombre Nomade, but not as sharp. And more extraordinary.

The fragrance starts strong and opulently spicy. It then embarks on a journey of rose-oud of almost aristocratic elegance. The potential trap lurks with civet at the end! For me, the fragrance repeatedly smelled slightly fecal. The people around me perceived it more as elegant animalic notes. But for that reason alone, it's not a blind buy. Definitely test it!
