Oud Tuareg

It might sound strange now, but the bottle fits the fragrance perfectly—cool, clear, balanced, and—others might perceive it differently—light. Completely unexpectedly light. And also completely unexpectedly, in combination with my skin chemistry, the rose appears only very subtly. Or maybe it's supposed to be that way... After the fizzy opening, I smell a balanced, "rounded", woody scent on myself. Very nice, but really nothing I would purchase, as I already own three wonderful, woody, somewhat "masculine-leaning" fragrances by the master that I truly love and find more expressive and full of character. But since everything is always a matter of taste, I definitely want to recommend testing it! It might also be due to my skin that the fragrance potentially doesn't fully develop on me, and I also believe that my expectations were simply different, based on the scents I know from Hamid Merati-Kashani.

Wow! A very powerful rose-oud fragrance, with rather animalic oud in the opening... once you have overcome this phase, it becomes a bit softer again and the rose more prominent, but remains strongly oud-y... very potent and long-lasting....

An immediately present, sparkling opening in which spicy and slightly resinous facets combine with a dry, noble oud structure. From the start, the composition feels warm and contoured without becoming overly heavy. As it develops, an elegant woody base emerges more strongly, lending the fragrance stability and depth, while the oud remains present but appears clean and well-integrated. The drydown develops a calm, slightly leathery warmth with an oriental feel and leaves a structured, dry-spicy overall impression with a clear signature.
