Dry spices with a fading freshness
Magia Maestrale opens fresh, aromatic and slightly ozonic, with a cool almost mentholated feeling and a noticeable spicy edge. As it dries down, most of that freshness fades and the fragrance becomes much drier, earthier and more focused on spices and woods. I get an impression of clove, pepper, incense and dry wood, with only a faint citrus trace left from the opening. It is easy enough to understand, but the drydown feels fairly conventional to me and never becomes particularly exciting.
