Details on Etat Libre d’Orange The Ghost in the Shell

From the bottom of the matter, rise up. In a night of pale moonlight at the end of the 20th century, where the old world ends and the new begins, The Ghost in the Shell emerges as a perfume that speaks of the human phenomenon and its paradox. A fragrance that represents the merger of matter and the birth of spirit, it embodies the future while maintaining a connection to our humanity.

How does Etat Libre d’Orange The Ghost in the Shell smell?

A cybernetic interpretation of human essence, combining synthetic and natural elements. Opens with crisp yuzu and metallic Aqual™, evolving into a milky skin accord enhanced by ethereal jasmine. The base features innovative molecules like Vinylguaiacol and Orcanox™, creating a clean, almost post-human aura with subtle moss undertones.

Pink cotton candy cyberpunk

A fragrance that is difficult to describe. Initially floral and citrusy, also a bit pungent, artificial, metallic, and somehow milky as well. At the same time harmonious, with a disturbing element that somehow fits in nonetheless. Over time, it becomes distinctly floral, like lilac. The florality recedes, becomes more delicate and moves more towards lily of the valley; I think that's the jasmine. The first time I found it 'pink', like cotton candy. The second time a bit more tart, not quite as 'pink', more 'lilac-colored'. My acquaintances like it on me, but to me personally, it's a bit too floral and feminine. The concept is great and very interesting; I only wish there was a slightly more masculine version. The sillage is good, as is the longevity, though for me it could last a bit longer.

A dream

I fell in love at the first spray! Soft and delicate, but clearly noticeable. Like luxury on the skin. Cozy but not heavy.

Love at second sight

I ordered it as a sample and found it quite boring at first. But the development on the skin is so exciting that I absolutely had to have the full bottle. It settles like a second skin, appearing both understated and room-filling at the same time. It doesn't have a very strong impact in the initial spray, but it has a great drydown that works very subtly and harmoniously. A surprise hit!
