Defender

Layers of imaginatively composed notes, accords and technologies by Kamila Lelakova, the first female perfumer for Boadicea the Victorious, has produced a bold perfume of tenacity and emotional impact. Defender opens with a rebellious shout of zesty ginger, grapefruit and unexpected swirls of dark liquorice and honeyed cognac mingled with a fascinating red berry compote and hints of kirsch.

A complex composition starting with a vibrant blend of ginger, grapefruit, cherry water, and honeyed cognac. The heart reveals night-blooming jasmine and orange blossom, complemented by earthy myrrh and hay notes. The base is rich with leather, musk, red amber, and various resins including benzoin, labdanum, and Peru balsam, finished with sweet tonka bean.
