Peru Balsam

Peru Balsam is a natural resinous substance obtained from the bark of the Myroxylon balsamum tree, native to Central and South America, particularly El Salvador, Peru, and Colombia. It is traditionally extracted through a process of bark incision and collection of the balsamic resin, which is then processed and refined.
