Orange Hyper Essence / X surprised me immediately. It opens unusually, beautifully, and distinctly. I perceive orange, a floral effect, fruitiness, a slight sweetness, and something that feels almost woody. Yet the official composition is surprisingly compact: ginger, bitter orange, Valencia and Californian orange, a prosecco accord, and cardamom. The scent is not completely clear to my nose, but here that bothers me less than with many other perfumes. Why? Because it has flow. A lot is happening, almost like several melodies at once, but they work together. The different facets come and go like waves without the composition falling apart. For me, this is a real statement fragrance. It says: 'I am here.' I can easily imagine people asking what you are wearing. My imagery is an elegant rooftop event at sunset: glasses of sparkling wine, freshly sliced oranges, colorful flowers, music, and a gentle breeze. Then someone walks in whose presence changes the room without needing to be loud. But: do not overspray. The intensity could quickly become too much. Even for layering, I would use only very little and combine it with something neutral. Since it contains cardamom and I already watch out for this note due to my sensitivity, I would still do a skin test before purchasing. 8.0 unusual, present, and gorgeous. If it doesn't trigger me on my skin, this is a purchase candidate for me.
