Luxury spa in a bottle
Orange Crush starts off beautifully for me. Immediately, I perceive orange, accompanied by a slightly sweet fruitiness and a floral facet that partly even reminds me of a sweet rose. I find the balance particularly successful. The fragrance is sweet, but not overwhelming or heavily gourmand. Orange, fruitiness, and blossoms intertwine nicely. What makes it special for me is its luxury spa vibe. I think of expensive shampoo, high-quality soap, body oil, hair oil, and elegant bath products. Everything feels clean, well-groomed, and luxurious. Unfortunately, the fragrance is not completely clear to my nose. In the background, I perceive something green, slightly spicy, and almost patchouli-like. At first, this only slightly irritated my nose, but as it developed, I also felt the irritation in my throat. What is interesting to me in this regard is oakmoss: I am increasingly noticing that with some fragrances containing oakmoss, I first think of patchouli. I cannot yet conclude from this whether oakmoss actually contributes to my reaction, but I will continue to observe this pattern. Furthermore, I would not overspray Orange Crush, as its rich side could quickly become too much. The annoying thing is: without the irritation, this would be a real candidate to buy for me.
