Burgundy Oud

A wonderful opening of blackcurrant bud and bergamot lends the fragrance a fine, understated fruitiness that does not seem sparkling, but rather unfolds thoughtfully and softly like a silk scarf. This is joined by a very pleasant floral nuance that does not appear powdery at all. In combination with the extremely finely integrated oud, which is anything but barnyard-like, and the leather, a harmonious blend of fruit, floral elegance, and noble oud warmth is created.

Starts with bergamot acidity and a slightly tingling cardamom freshness around greenish-soft blackcurrant buds. Supported by fruity-sweet davana, which intensifies the berry impression. Lovely blossoms set in, making the fragrance appear rather bright, yet with a certain sharpness. Unfortunately, it has a somewhat pungent base character in places. Woody notes only appear relatively late and make the scent a bit more tart, almost slightly leathery.
