Tropical fruit in the worst possible way for my nose
Ha Long Bay immediately gives me a very ripe tropical fruit impression, especially mango, and unfortunately my brain associates that smell with cat litter. Once that association appears, I find it almost impossible to enjoy the fragrance normally. I can still tell that there is more going on underneath, with darker and slightly woody or leathery facets, but the fruit dominates my perception too much. Very distinctive, but absolutely not for me.
