The story

Jovoy tells a story in two eras. The Parisian house began in 1923 with Blanche Arvoy and returned after more than eight decades of obscurity when François Hénin revived it. Since 2010, he has shaped Jovoy as a contemporary house devoted to rare perfumery.

The Rue de Castiglione address is more than a boutique. Jovoy curates artistic fragrance from around the world while publishing its own creations. Independent perfumers translate encounters, materials, and memories into compositions with a distinct point of view.

01 · A rebirth

From Blanche Arvoy to François Hénin

The first Jovoy era began in Paris in 1923 with Blanche Arvoy and playful bottles for a style-conscious clientele. After a long absence, François Hénin gave the name a new direction in 2010. His travels through Vietnam and his experience in Grasse shaped his attention to materials and to a perfumery that values discovery over convention. An open idea of rare perfumery

Jovoy is both a house and a curatorial address. Its own line includes eau de parfum, extrait, and home scents. Each creation is meant to carry a story born from an encounter or personal experience. Private Label makes that approach especially clear: Cécile Zarokian turned a private commission into a defining Jovoy composition.

03 · Material and collaboration

Materials become personal stories

Jovoy’s palette is shaped by independent voices. Vanina Muracciole brought an airy vanilla with mimosa and brown sugar to the line in Fire At Will. With Ha Long Bay, the focus turns to Vietnam: the official presentation connects Hoa Loc sand mango with spices, leather, and woods. The result is not a fixed house formula, but a recognizable standard for idea, material, and execution.
