Osiris

Right from the very first encounter with Osiris, I had a distinctly familiar feeling. To my nose, the resemblance to Oud for Greatness by Initio is hard to miss. In principle, I like this kind of scent profile; however, personally, Initio's execution convinces me a bit more. That by no means signifies that Osiris is a bad fragrance. It moves in an olfactory direction that certainly has its appeal and will surely find its enthusiasts. For me, however, the feeling of smelling something already very familiar remains. A thoroughly pleasant fragrance, but one that could not completely win me over personally.

I perceive a sweet-spicy-creamy blend of oud, pepper, and tonka bean, reminiscent of classics like Haltane or Oud For Greatness, but greener and pepperier. On the skin, it feels subtle and pleasantly soft, with a decent presence. For me, it fits best in autumn and winter, such as for elegant evenings or quiet occasions.

An initially fresh scent that quickly develops into a green-spicy direction. Gradually, woody notes come more to the fore, accompanied by a subtle sweetness that remains perceptible. Later, Osiris becomes increasingly spicy and woody. A hint of smoky oud gives the fragrance additional depth and a slightly oriental character without appearing too dominant.
