Triumph of Bacchus Extrait

ARGOS – Triumph of Bacchus Extrait is a very intense, opulent, and high-quality fragrance with a strong presence. The composition feels even denser and rounder than the original and definitely sticks in your mind. For me, it's an impressive fragrance that radiates a lot of luxury, yet this presence bothers me after a while to the point that I no longer like it on myself after a certain time.

The opening is an absolute showstopper. A juicy, almost sparkling fruit note of green apple and ripe peach immediately meets a deep, noble rum accord, supported by the finest saffron. It doesn't smell like cheap alcohol, but like an extremely high-quality, aged liqueur. In the heart, the scent transforms: the freshness of the fruit recedes, making way for a smoky-creamy warmth. Tonka bean and soft jasmine blend perfectly. The grand finale in the base then belongs to the tobacco – and what a tobacco! No ashy smoke, but sweet, moist pipe tobacco that combines with noble amber and sandalwood into a sweet-spicy, almost hypnotic aura.

For one person or another, it is probably a very nice scent. For me personally, it is too intrusive.
