Terror & Magnificence is not a perfume that wants to please – it creates a mood. For me, this fragrance actually smells black. Not dark in the classical sense, but deep, reverent, and almost spiritual. The powerful incense, mineral notes, and the cool, stony atmosphere conjure up a vision of a massive Gothic cathedral. At the same time, the scent does not come across as aggressive or off-putting, but rather fascinating and surprisingly wearable.
