Duran Duran Neorio - Pink Flacon

... the fragrance pyramid sounded like a gourmand, boozy dream, but reality was different: the alcoholic opening vanished in seconds... what remained was an extremely dark, heavy DNA: medicinal saffron and a pungent licorice note that I found almost repulsive... instead of the expected sweetness, the fragrance became bitter, woody, and scratchy on my skin (this didn't match the colorful bottle at all)... I would have loooooved to like it...

The description was overhyped, but the scent is unfortunately rather mediocre. I'm lowkey disappointed; I was hoping for a completely different vibe.

The fragrance starts off very spicy with a slight hint of liquorice. In the drydown, it develops into a pleasantly spicy-warm composition with a beautiful sweetness.
