Unfortunately, I don’t understand it. I can’t even recall its scent

In the beginning, I liked the scent, but now I find it disgusting and somehow feel unwell when I smell it. The only advantage would be its longevity.

I always find it difficult to rate these highly conceptual scents, as it is only my perception and skin chemistry is everything. I was really looking forward to this fragrance, expecting a beautifully tragic, boozy summer memory. Fermented pineapple, cold gin, salty tears - simply a heartbroken summer in a bottle. But it played out so strangely on my skin. The bitter lavender and sharp black pepper were simply much too dominant for me right from the start, completely overpowering the icy gin I was hoping for. It eventually settled into a dry, salted vetiver, but that initial overripe fruit phase just didn't work for me at all.
